I read this headline today "Wind power separate from Lepreau" and laughed. It is something a typical politicina would have to say. The amount of power that you can introduce onto a grid from wind power is miniscule complared to that indroduced by a Nuclear Power Plant.
Also there are HUGE control issues if you ever had that much wind. What would happen if all of a sudden the wind died, where is the power going to come from.
After saying this it is very important to develop wind power on PEI, wherever you have the wind resource it should be used, and use coal, or gas for the slack bus (when ever the wind dies down)
