Manufacturing Consent is a documentary film made roughly a decade ago. It discusses and analyzes US media. Anyone seen it? What did you think about it?

Haven't seen the movie, but am familiar with the concept. I think it's really not so unblievable to think that media has a role to play in manufacturing consent, and that propaganda has always been an invaluable tool that most countries, if not all, regularly use to help keep their populaces supporting them.

Control Room, which is another movie about media, is a good movie and pretty well known. Manufacturing consent might be a better movie, but it's less known.
