Since this is a topic up for debate, what do you think?
Is banning VLTs a good idea? explain.
Now for my 2cents, banning VLTs will not do anything. Since the provincial government has no control over native land they will still have lrge numbers of the machines. Other than that I think that it would be agood idea.
Yeah I know, but what about pro-choice. Everyone wants to live in a "nanny-state" these days. Both of these arguments are given by people without the mental capacity to make an informed argument and would rather spout "buzz-words", so please don't.....

I think enough husbands, wifes and old people dumping entire checks into them is a reason enough as is. Serious, it wasnt 15 years ago the VTL issue came to light when a stellarton man put a sledge hammer through a VLT in Needs convience just to stop his wife from dumping the cash into the damn thing.
Yeah I agree totally, but the province banning them is not the going to solve the issue. If they did ban them the reserves will just increase the numner that they have and there wouldn't be a damn thing the NS government could do about it. And where in NS is a reserve NOT within a short drive away?

no they should be all gone, even reserves, they are hurting the natives more than anything. You growing up near a reserve should know this.
