So there is this grade 5 student on his way home and he is beaten up by a small group of sixth graders. This has happened in the past, not to this extent, but since it was a group the principal doesn't count it as bullying.

I say, WTF, I don't think it should matter if it is one biger kid or a group of friends that decide this kid is going to be their punching bag. Those kids should be punished severly, and the principal should be reprmanded for not doing somethig in the past. The whole story is in the herald today.
Why is this even an issue? Whether is one or many students picking fights, there has to be consequences for those actions.

Exactly, I think that all of the kids that were involved in the fights, the other times should of been punished somehow. And if these kids parents were contacted what did they say. NOT my BOY, he is a good kid...
