I know he's Irish but I'm quite impressed by Iain Dowie. It would be interesting to see what Sam Allardyce could do with a decent set of players too as he seems to approach his job in a very professional manner. People make a lot of the Bolton style of play but I think he plays that way due to the limitations of his squad.
I think Sam Allardyce would be much like Graham Taylor. A good club manager (think he did well with Notts Co IIRC) but I have doubts as to whether he would make it on the international stage.
Possibly, but I guess with no English manager in charge of a top club it's difficult to say otherwise because none of them have achieved much at club level.
