It seems that another Submarine, the HMCS Windsor has had electrical problems while at sea, unlike the HMCS Chicoutimi there were no fatilaties.

This is the second sub to have major electrical problems since Canada aquired the, "in working order" subs from Britain. I am starting to wonder, and I am sure no alone on this one, but did Britian sell one of its allies the "proverbial Lemon"?

Who goes and buys secondhand submarines though at least without checking them out very carefully. That's like walking into Honest John's Motor Dealership and trusting Honest John when he says that's not rust, it's just decoration.

Yes the subs are ancient and were decomissioned in the 1980s. Canada should just take all the money it uses to fix the damn things and have someone like bombardier etc build us 10 new subs.

Yeah sure, maybe the subs were a deal that was "too good to be true" but I would think that allies would not be so.....sneaky.

But hey, this is probably just Canadians being naive again in the ways of the "new" world
