OTANS thinks that we should use this money to invest in the offshore industry, that Ham govenment plans on putting this money towards the provincial debt.

I think that the Ham government has the right idea, with the money it saves it can use to put towards the offshore. In the long term this will help the finiancial status of the province. Besides, if we invest all of that moeny into the offshore and there turns out to be nothing else there, that is almost $ billion dollars lost that will never be recovered. But if it is put towards the debt we will be able to put $45 million towards the exploration without stealing from any other programs.

Win, WIN

Le the private sector find and deliver the gas, let the government get the fiscal house in order and give us a tax break when we can afford to do so.
