I must say that I agree completely with the government on this issue. They are not going to take the recommendation from doctors to completely ban people from using ATVs under the age of 16. This is ridiculous, there are still farms in NS that rely on people carring their weight on farms, this is why you can get a tractor license at the age of 14.
I do agree that there needs to be more formal training, and supervision until teens have the necessary experience to operate these machines on their own.
What are your feelings on this issue? Do you think that people under the age of 16 should be forbidden from riding ATVs and snowmobiles?
