Sometimes I wonder the reason that some parties that are not in power support or denounce the goings on around the world. Harper made a announcement that he supports what is going on in Lebeaon right now, and came close to accusing Syria to supporting the recent assaination.

When only one party speaks out, it shows weakness as a country. I doubt that this was the intent. If this statement was followed by one from the government, or the government releases a statement with the same feeling I say, great.

However, if our government has a different view it may cause problems. Although, in this case I don't think that is a problem.
