Alright it is time for a short rant. Why do people let their dogs shit on the sidewalk and then LEAVE it there. For the last couple of weeks I noticed this on the way to work near my building, and yesterday I saw the guy. He is a guy with a small dog living in the "crack house" next door. I watched as he got the dog to squat in front of the door of my building let one go and walk away. There is a park only 2 blocks down the roads. Come on, who let tis man have a dog, I have seen homeless people take better care of their dogs. Also not very many things gross me out, but this is one of the major ones, I lived on a farm and have walked in shit before, but that is expected, not walking down Barrington in my dress shoes on my way to work in an office.
The only thing that held me back from going up to that guy and confronting him was that my GF was their, and really what good would of that done?
I think that instead of getting dog licenses I think that people should have to obtain a license before getting a dog and if you don't have one the dog is taken from you till you get one. Also these licenses shouldn't cost nothing, maybe have a deposit when you apply for one, and if you get one you get the money back.....
