I know this is not directly related to politics but it is still very important. There was a study released recently that showed the teenagers are more likely to be injured on the job than any other age group. I don't find that very suprising. When you first start working you are not sure what your rights are, if you don't get the appropriate training you may not even know what you are doing is unsafe.
During my summers I worked mostly in construction, since I was around job sites my whole life (My father was a contractor) it was not a very big stretch, I had the experience, I knew all about dangers what to look out for etc. However I worked with some other young people who didn't have a clue and had a number of close calls before they smartened up and started listening to the older guys.
Unfortunatly some people, young and old, need to learn by doing. You say the soup is hot they have to burn their lips before believing you
