Representatives from the American Farm Bureau say that the judge who granted R-CALF the injunction to keep Canadian cattle out of the US was wrong. They have submitted a brief to that supports the USDA's opinion that the border between Canada and the US should be ope to beef.

It is about time that someone down there started thinking about something more than money and started fighting the truth. From a scientific standpoint the border should of been open long ago, but politically, in the US it would be better for the border never to be open. Finially, one for the Good Guys.

Best reason yet.
How do you know where your beef comes from if you go to the store? If I asked the butcher would they know?

BSE is just one of many problems. Also lobbying groups representing food industry (in US) are so influential. FDA is not doing what it's supposed to be doing, etc. etc. The whole situation related to this is becoming more like corruption at large.
