Is US auto industry going to recover ever or they are on the edge of collapse? What's your take? Also what'll happen to Detroit?

The car industry isnt on collaspe. Once the time comes for some new kind of transport they will be there to make it. They are already making hybreds and hydrogen fueled cars so the industry is already preparing for a fall out.
