It is hard to believe who they will let become a "protector of the peace" A police officer decided it was a good idea to shoot the shot-gun at the saidwalk and was supirsed that the pellets bounced.

Anyway read it all here

Yeah I seen that today. Smart move, even I knew better than that. The smart move will be to suspend this guy.

I think that it is really scary when it is people like this that are SUPPOSED to carry the guns. What kind of IQ do these people have? Sometimes I am amazed that some people can even tie their shoes in the morning

Not really a good example, but hey as long as it doesn't affect his job I say go 4 it.
But if it ever came to the point where it was a problem watch out.....

I think that he needs more practice so that he can learn to hide it better Wink

Out of interest, do the police in Canada generally carry guns? Only saw one who wasn't in his car and didn't spot a gun, but I wasn't really looking for it.

As for IQ levels - the guy who was chief inspector of schools in the UK was recently asked to look at police recruitment and came back basically saying that to join the police force you need to be just slightly above totally thick. Then again, I don't know why they need a study to work this out!

Yikes - well I guess I trust them a bit more than those in the next country down, although I can't imagine why they'd need them in Canada.
