So there is this expression "British teeth" n US (and other English speaking countries?). Do Britons actually have bad teeth commonly?

Yes. I spent two weeks there in April, they all need a dental plan.

q. Is this because they don't care about their teeth or they simply don't have any access to good dental plan?

I think it is just an over hyped story. I am sure their teeth are not that bad but I noticed people in rural areas, far from urban centres seemed to have some bad teeth.

Isn't this true in many other countries?

I think it's a gross generalisation. I'm British and don't have any fillings...

But then maybe that's because I don't visit the dentist. Twisted Evil

No fillings? I've never heard of that before! Well, aside from young children anyway!

I got a good couple already, plus a cap, although the cap was from having half a tooth punched off! Laughing

Yep, no fillings. I guess I'm lucky.

I did chip a front tooth slightly once, and that had a bit of attention, and I had a brace as a kid for orthodontic treatment, but that's about it.
