I am going to describe a "company/organization" and someone here is going to guess what one.
Here are the clues

a) 30 have been accused of spousal abuse.
b) 9 have been arrested for fraud.
c) 14 have been accused of writing bad cheques.
d) 95 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses.
e) 4 have done time for assault.
f) 55 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit.
g) 12 have been arrested on drug related charges.
h) 4 have been arrested for shoplifting.
i) 16 are currently defendants in lawsuits.
j) 62 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year.

Reply if you know what I am talking about Smile

I believe you are describing our very own Parliament and it's not surprising given what's been happening lately. And people wonder why voter turnout is low.

I've sat in the gallery before and it's no better than watching it on TV. It generally degrades into a shouting match to see who can be the loudest and most obnoxious. But this happens in other governments around the world with similar parliamentary structures too. I guess it's built in to the system.

Maybe so, but I think that we have to give the speaker of the house more power. If someone raises their voice, kick them out, if someone talks out of turn kick them out..

I hate to say it but maybe we need to get one of those old elementary school teachers in there. They always had a way to control the class

Not a hell of a lot, this place doesn't even cover its own expenses

However I am thinking that I may reach into my own pocket for a prize for a logo and banner competition

Anyone here interested?

Now it all makes sense

Also it is not much of a "Question Period" when people boo, scream, try to talk over people. What ever happened to a simple discussion

Someone asks a question to someone else, that person answers it to the best of their ability

It is not too complicated

People would not be yelling, if the government answered the questions (I know, i know, it Question period, not Answer period). Really, though, when you ask a question on whether Paul Martin had lunch with someone and he replies that he will defend Healthcare against private clinics, its hard not to yell out a bit.

I find that hard to believe. 62 people arrested for drunk driving. I don't think that true. Gordon got nailed and it was all over the news. So why would i not hear about this?

Gordon?

Well I imagine if he was a Democract that of course it would be on the news, however the Republicans have a knack of keeping their misgivings a little lower under the radar
