FROM CBC:
HALIFAX – Police in Halifax say a man used a hypodermic needle to rob a pizza shop Wednesday night.
The man entered Mia's Pizza on North Street just before 10 p.m., and demanded some cash. He was given the money.
Then before he left, he asked for three slices of pizza. He was given that too.
Police are looking for a man who wore a green jacket, light green pants and a black toque.
I have two points on this.... first of all, using needles to rob places is becoming more frequent. I remember that in Fredericton last year, there were at least seven robberies in which dirty syringes were used.
My second point, and it's more of an observation, I got a kick out of the fact that the robber asked for three slices of pizza before he left. That made me chuckle."
