Gambling a Problem in NS

Posted on Monday, February 07 @ 21:40:29 CST by capebretoner

Canoe Writes: "HALIFAX (CP) -- Nova Scotia is not doing enough to combat problem gambling and Premier John Hamm says that's got to change.
Hamm told the annual Tory convention over the weekend his government needs to be more responsible about regulating gambling."

I think that the best way to curb problem gambling might be to take away the VLTs. It has been proven that VLTs cause the addiction in the majority of cases, and the fact that they are readily available doesn't help.
