canoe.ca writes: "NANAIMO, B.C. (CP) -- The main highway linking north and south Vancouver Island was closed for several hours on Sunday due to heavy snow and "extremely treacherous" driving conditions.
The Malahat Highway was closed from just outside Victoria to Mill Bay by police mid-afternoon and re-opened several hours later."
