I see that there have been a couple of people that want a Christmas election. I want to know what you would like it? Sure it is not a lot of work or time to go in and vote, but I don't think that there is the urgency that the Oppostion is trying to push

Big friggin deal it is over Christmas. Everyone is getting their boobs in a knot. The fact is we have alot of corruption and a minority government right now. The sooner we get something done about this the better. I am getting so tired of seeing everyones fucking grand standing on c-span.

Yes I watch c-span, in the course of a day i must read about 4 hours worth of websites, newspapers, books, magazines and tv news. What did you think that news was updating itself via magic on the front page.
It looks now if we are going to do a feb 13th election which means valentines day is going to be an special day for heart-break in the commons that afternoon.

And I am thankful that you do, God knows that one of us has too....
But a Feb 13 election won't be too bad, I am going to vote for whoever shows up to my house on the day that it is 20 below
There is little to the Liberal's argument, most times you are lucky to get 25% of Canadians wanting an election.
For the 1st week of an election, people say they do not want one, then they settle down and pay attention. The same will happen here. Besides, its not really a Christmas election, is a January election. In 1980, al lthe parties agreed to tone it down over Christmas.
Martin has lately come off looking really bad. After pushing through SSM (for better or not), he now cliams to care about Christian and other such groups and their feelings. Its pure BS and he is fully of aware of that. This pre-writ crap from the Liberals is what is wrong with politics in this nation.

Im not sure how the next election will go. If Stephen Harper can keep his mouth shut he just might win this. I am going to go out on a limb and say Liberals either win by majority or minority. The Conservatives just don't have a proper leader to march forwards right now and take control.
