You would think that all of the time that the federal parties are talking about the Gomery Inquiry that it would matter to the public. As far as I can tell no one really give a shit.

Now Harper is coming out with a plan to Clean up Government Well good luck with that. It is too bad that your party is not trusted enough for the public to take you seriously. Sure I think that it is a good idea, but I don't think that you will make it fly. The only way for any government to be "Cleaned up" is to make sure there are plenty of Auditors with plenty of power. That will keep everyone honest, because otherwise they will lose their shirts.

No Liberals will win the next election with another small margin. Face it the next 5 years will be minority leaders. Unless the conservatives can find a new face for the party, either MacKay or someone else they will be stuck.

Yeah with the polls the way they are the next election will be a minority. And you are right the only way out is for more Quebecers to start liking the Grits or the Torys to dum Harper. The CPC will not make much progress in Centeral or Atlantic Canada with Harper. People here just can't come to trust the guy, and that is saying a lot since the Liberals have been in power and abused that power for so long
