BC Teen arreted in Greece

A honor student from BC was arrested in Greece for picking up a piece of marble from the pantheon for a picture. The student claims that she was never told that you couldn't do that. But hey, ignorance is never a ood defence and her own tour company is not taking her side.

Swarmings worry BC Police

CBC is reporting about a series of attacks in lower mainland BC. It seems that swarmings are not just a problem in downtown Halifax.

Large Snowfall on Vancouver Island

canoe.ca writes: "NANAIMO, B.C. (CP) -- The main highway linking north and south Vancouver Island was closed for several hours on Sunday due to heavy snow and "extremely treacherous" driving conditions. The Malahat Highway was closed from just outside Victoria to Mill Bay by police mid-afternoon and re-opened several hours later."

It snows in in Vancouver?

University Students in Alberta to get a break

canoe.ca writes: "As our centennial gift to Alberta's post-secondary students, government will pay the bill for their tuition increases for next year. When students go to any one of our post-secondary institutions next September, they won't pay a dollar more than they did this year."

Man I wish they did that in Nova Scotia while I was at school. One year Dal said they were going to raise tuition 40% and then in the summer said that they would be only raising it 12%, and at the time we thought this was GREAT, compared to the 40%.
Oh well I am done!!!
